Updates
What changed
This is where every RealView changelog lives. You can also read them in the extension itself: click the RealView icon in your toolbar and open “What’s new”.
Update notice card on Studio
- After an update, a small card appears in the corner of Studio once, lists what changed, and slides away after a few seconds or when you close it.
- Closing that card clears the red 1 on the toolbar icon, the same as opening the popup does.
- A new “Update notice on Studio” switch in the popup turns the card off; the badge on the icon still appears either way.
A What's new section in the popup
- The popup now has a “What’s new” section listing what changed in each update you have not read yet, with earlier versions tucked behind a link.
- A small red 1 appears on the toolbar icon after an update, and clears the moment you open the popup.
- Nothing opens on its own: no tab, no notification, no page.
Smoother charts, quieter failures
- Every bar in the latest-video ranking now moves as figures come in, not only the newest video’s.
- Charts that mark every few minutes rise steadily instead of jumping once an hour.
- When a query fails, the last real figures are shown for up to fifteen minutes rather than leaving the number raw.
- Failed queries are retried quietly in the background so the next page load finds them answered.
Latest-video verdict judged from engaged views
- The latest-video card’s arrow and typical band are now judged from engaged views rather than raw ones.
- The dashboard’s top-content list is no longer converted twice, which had replaced right figures with wrong ones.
Audience tab converted
- The Audience tab is converted: age and gender, top geographies, subtitle languages and interests.
Two-way tables and content-type tabs
- Tables split two ways, such as age against gender, are converted.
- Cards with All, Videos, Shorts and Live tabs show each tab’s own figures instead of the whole channel’s.
Latest-video ranking rebuilt from engaged views
- The latest-video ranking (“6 of 10”) is rebuilt from engaged views and reordered to match.
